Concealed on approach, compelled by the scent of fear
Undetected through ice and snow, guided by hunger
Query alerted, a choice to stand or flee
Taunted are the hunted, surrounded by death
Isolated are the weak, feeble attempts at escape
The taste of blood in the air, instinct of survival
Retreat and pursuit, the pack encircles
Imminent fatality, vicious onslaught
Teeth breach flesh, white snow turns red
Voracious predators, culmination of the hunt
A frenzied feast ensues, the pack devours

never been a big death metal fan but this is actually super accessible for the genre, has fun concepts, and personally i'm always a fan of albums with short tracklists and huge runtimes (for individual songs) Great time, good jumping on point for newbies too. alienasu
This album is just 100/100, like so many albums from mgla. How can a band hit the spot so many times? They are incredible. Thank you for accompanying me almost daily these days :) adrianradillo
L'obsidienne est une roche de couleur noire et son aspect vitreux absorbe le regard ; mais sous la lumière, elle produit de magnifiques reflets arcs-en-ciel. C'est ce degré de magnificence qu'Obsidian Tongue vise dans A Nest of Ravens in the Throat of Time. Si la production est toujours rugueuse, le duo américain met l'accent sur les mélodies, plus profondes et mélancoliques. Progressives, les pistes se rallongent et se condensent. Un bel opus qui frôle, sans l'atteindre encore, la perfection ! Jordan Vauvert
I came accross Black Curse, and their first demo, on Greg Biehl / No Gleaming Light YT channel in late 2019 and a bit later, in 2020, as it was covid, a whole lot of time was spent at home listening to music.
In April 2020, I took a slap in my face. The songs that were already on the demo, with the new production here were so insane, it dragged me to hell. Black Curse is definitely one of the most violent band I listened in the last years. Next-level Black-Death metal for sure ! drs_dramm
