Edelslav Saw these guys at an Earthling show and they just blew me away. I saw them again at the Magnolia House playing by candle light at the close of their tour to support this album. Great layers, complexity, and musicianship. They are best described by one of the other artists at that show, who said: "Fuck. Those guys are TOO good."

Hunted 09:33
Concealed on approach, compelled by the scent of fear Undetected through ice and snow, guided by hunger Query alerted, a choice to stand or flee Taunted are the hunted, surrounded by death Isolated are the weak, feeble attempts at escape The taste of blood in the air, instinct of survival Retreat and pursuit, the pack encircles Imminent fatality, vicious onslaught Teeth breach flesh, white snow turns red Voracious predators, culmination of the hunt A frenzied feast ensues, the pack devours
2.
Scourge 08:42
Out of the crypts, awaken The souls have claimed, burning to life Incantations grant us passage from our dark realm A cult of shadows summons our power The blackest of covens bleed in our name, awaken The darkest of winter nights they convene A conjuration requires a life, one that is pure Bloodcurdling screams, a refusal, endless hours of pain Innocent though they may be, sacrifice blood that we see Light after lifetimes of darkness, life after ages of death Conjuration, incantation Light after lifetimes of darkness, life after ages of death Incantation, conjuration Innocent though they may be, sacrifice blood that we see Your realm is ours to poison, your souls are ours to reap

Detriment 08:53
The dawn of man cast its shadow Spreading darkness upon all of the earth Rapidly growing population Festering life, like fleas on a hound Pestilence scouring the face of this planet Sowing the seeds of ill intent Despite warning of scholars The ignorance of man propels us Further down the bleakest of paths From which there is no return Diminishing hope for the future of our kind Delusions of faith will cause our collapse Belief of the masses formed by fabrications Thought forced upon the common man By the villain with the deepest pockets Stripping your mind of independence Buckling your knees till you bow to the law of control Empires rise to an apex only to crumble Mountains of life eviscerated and reduced to mere hills A race that once took flight, now falling to our doom Withering life, grasping to linger Like cockroaches refusing to die And now strife is upon us Consuming our brethren And now disease is within us Withering our beloved
5.
Inflict 09:01
Hailed as greatness by many, a monument to pride Disgusting and perverse The darkest of deeds performed by the mentally impoverished Bow down and serve or be crushed and cast out No voice for dissent, no fealty in doubt Enslaved by those that seek to exploit Mundane cycle, meaningless life In pursuit of the almighty dollar Righteous are the rich to trample over the poor Destruction of the serene For profit of the guiltless corporate whore Your judgment day has come Fatal consequences of your actions Ruinous fate that you cannot escape Repercussions for evil deeds Withered planet not yet slain Fear the aftermath Legions of broken spirits, profit earned on broken backs Suffering of the many for the wealth of the few Desperation, pressure to earn, hands grinded to the bone No purpose other than earning, enslaved by expectation Shattered souls for them to reap Bow down and serve or be crushed and cast out No voice for dissent, no fealty in doubt Planetary exploitation, mankind doomed by this host This land we’ve raped and slaughtered We are the prey of earth’s ghost Ruled by false Gods
6.
Collapse 10:15
Balance in the galaxy, eradication of the human plague Poisoned soils yield disease, cleansing the earth of man Dominant species destroyed, along the cycle of time Repercussion by nature, flood, fire, famine Decimation of contagious life, purging the world of its parasite A fatal way of life, an omen bleeds the truth A path to extinction, a ruinous past for which we must pay Reckoning, suffering The plight of this planet will soon be erased The wrath of our nature will wipe us away The end is upon us, condemned to our fate Consumed by our greed, destroyed by our hate The horsemen have come to fulfill the prophecy The blackening sun, atonement for atrocities A ravaging plague, a global massacre The end of our age, descent into ruin The rising tide will vanquish the foes of the earth Into the throes of death
7.
Ages of Ages 06:17
What was left of the forest, now scorched to the soil Swelling oceans of toxin have flooded these lands A nuclear wasteland after aeons of war, barren of life, devoid of man The ashes of fallen empires make fertile the soils of this land Free from ages of oppression, flourishing in the absence of man And from the end of the cycle, rebirth of this natural place Reclaiming the wrongfully taken, freedom to thrive without risk
